Customer photo review of Takeoff to Hidden Treasures

We enjoyed our day out doing the Takeoff to Aviation Treasures. We had beautiful weather. My favourite stop was probably the first stop, my husband grew up in Mississauga and wasn’t even away that the park existed. We had already been a couple of the stops previously so we skipped those but driving down the country roads make for a great day. The only tricky part is when you needed to book a parking space, there is a possibility that you might not get it…it’s a very popular spot. I wasn’t a fan of the card with the stops on it, it was getting difficult to close it towards the end but that was a me issue. It was a fun day and would do another one.

Store owner replied: Thank you so much Lesley for sharing your experience with Takeoff to Hidden Treasures. We’re so glad to hear you had a beautiful day out exploring! It’s always extra special when a stop surprises even a local, so we love that the first location was such a standout for you both. Those “how did we not know this was here?” moments are exactly what we aim for. We also really appreciate your note about the parking reservation. You’re absolutely right, it can be a popular spot, especially on sunny summer weekend days. It’s great to know you had a fun day overall (country roads included!) and hope you get a chance to do another Mystery Day Trips itinerary soon.

We headed out and enjoyed the views of a place we had never been. Had a great lunch and then headed out to do the rest. We were disappointed in the fifth and sixth stops. The 6th wasn’t something we would normally frequent so we skipped that one.

Takeoff to Hidden Treasures

Store owner replied: Thanks for sharing your experience Kimberly. We’re glad you enjoyed exploring a new place, loved the views and had a great lunch stop. Stop 5 is designed as a short scenic drive with a couple of highlights along the route, including a quick, intentionally quirky and out-of-the-ordinary stop, so it can be a hit or miss depending on your vibe. Stop 6 is alluded to in the trip’s photo details on our website, so we hope it didn’t come as an unexpected surprise. Skipping a stop that isn’t your style is totally fine, the day trip is meant to be flexible and self-guided. Your feedback helps us refine these experiences. We’re sorry this trip didn’t quite hit the mark for you and we hope you consider another Mystery Day Trip in the future.

Very excited to have received our Mystery Day Trip in the mail. Can't wait for the snow to melt and head out for our adventure!
